Maggie is passionate about assisting individuals through the healing process and educating people on the path to wellness. After sustaining injuries in a severe car accident, she healed herself by practicing hot yoga.  She opened up Hot Yoga Paradise with the vision for others in the community to find a space of healing and peace. Hot Yoga Paradise offers classes in Yoga, Fitness and Dance.

 

Maggie’s long history of entrepreneurship began with marketing, creating and promoting for nightclubs, restaurants and travel businesses. It continued in her role as a sales consultant in the fitness and health industry and later on as a sales representative in the food service industry. She has also worked in the fields of marketing, advertising and sales, personnel training and business development.

 

Her strong business background is balanced by her creative and expressive side. She danced professionally for 6 years and has 32 years of teaching experience in Dance, Yoga, Body Sculpting, fitness and aerobics. Maggie has taught fitness and dance for the NYC Board of Education in a New York public high school. Her love for the arts is further supported by her rich background in holistic health, nutrition, and education.

 

Maggie received her B.A. in Dance and Theatre from Queens College. She recently completed her Master’s in Health Fitness and Nutrition Education this year at Queens College. Her landmark education empowered her to be extraordinary, unstoppable, and she opened the yoga studio. (www.landmarkeducation.com).
